Does Your Belly Jiggle Like a Bowl Full of Jelly? By Carmel Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeons on December 12, 2022

"He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf.
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;"
No offense to Santa.....but if your belly jiggles like a bowl full of jelly, you may want to consider a tummy tuck.
A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, removes excess fat and skin from the abdomen and restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is and firmer and flatter.

The removal of  excess abdominal skin and small amounts of fat help you achieve the flat stomach you desire. Additionally, the procedure actually tightens the abdominal wall musculature.

A tummy tuck is targeted more at removing excess skin than fat. If excess fat is the primary problem, however, we may recommend liposuction as an alternative. In other cases, we may suggest combining liposuction and abdominoplasty to achieve the best results.

Abdominoplasty procedure

Abdominoplasty can address one or more of the following conditions:

  • Localized, excess fat
  • Loose skin and tissue
  • Weakened abdominal muscles
