Pregnancy and Plastic Surgery FAQ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

How long after delivering my baby do I need to wait to have breast augmentation surgery, breast lift surgery or a tummy tuck?

Answer: As a general rule, you will need to wait 3-6 months before having breast surgery or a tummy tuck. If you are breastfeeding, we recommend waiting for breast surgery until 3 months after you have completed breast feeding.

Will I be able to breastfeed after breast augmentation surgery?

Answer: Typically, breast augmentation surgery should not interfere with the patient's ability to breastfeed their children.
