On May 4th, Dr Bergman and Dr Grasee resumed seeing new patients in the office and resumed elective surgical procedures at Carmel Ambulatory Surgery Center and St Vincent/Ascension hospital facilities. As we move forward, we continue to have the safety and health of our patients and staff as our highest priority.

For your office visit at Carmel Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeons, we want you to know that all precautions remain in place to ensure adequate disinfection of the office. You will be asked screening questions as you enter the office regarding fever, cough, shortness of breath and contact with any known COVID-19 positive patients or persons exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms.

Our surgeons and staff are donning face masks and gloves and we ask you to wear your face mask to your office appointment. (Cloth face masks are acceptable.) For the continued health and safety of all, we also ask not to have any family members, children, or friends accompany you to your appointment.  If they or a driver must accompany you, they will be politely asked to wait in the car until your appointment is over. We will be following social distancing guidelines and continue to stay up to date with the recommendations of the local, national, and global organizations (CDC and WHO).

If you are having surgery at Carmel Ambulatory Surgery Center or a St Vincent/Ascension hospital facility, you will be asked pre-procedure screening questions and be asked to practice social distancing for the 14 days before to your procedure, only coming into close contact with household members. A pre-procedure COVID-19 test will be required 2-4 days before your procedure.  You will  again be asked screening questions upon arrival at your surgical facility and be asked to wear your own mask or one will be provided.  Your temperature will be taken to assure it is normal.  Visitor restrictions and driver restrictions will be in place and you will be advised of these prior to your procedure depending on your surgical facility.

We appreciate everyone's efforts and flexiblity as changes occur.  The goal is to provide a safe environment for all. Please feel free to contact the office with any questions or concerns.
