Breast Augmentation with Implants

Breast augmentation with both saline and silicone breast implants has proven to be both safe and effective.  When you meet with your plastic surgeon, you will share your goals of breast augmentaion with her. A variety of issues regarding the breast implants themselves will be discussed by your surgeon including the type of implant as well as its shape and size. The procedure including incision site (areolar, inframammary,or axillary) and position of the implants (submuscular or submammary) as well as the risks and benefits of the procedure will be reviewed. Next, you will be examined, measured, and photographed.  Before and after pictures of previous patients who underwent breast augmentation are available at the office to look at during your appointment. You will be told what you can expect before, during, and after the procedure. Lastly, a price quote will be given to you at the end of the appointment.
