Will liposuction help me with weight loss?

Answer: Liposuction is not a weight loss surgery. It is a procedure that re-contours the body.

How much fat can be removed with liposuction?

Answer: Our average patients have about 3.5 or so liters removed which translates to 5-7 pounds. There is no overnight stay required for this. Liposuction can remove up to 5 liters, but be aware in this instance an overnight stay in an outpatient facility may be required.

How long will I have swelling in the areas that are liposuctioned?

Answer: It does take several months after liposuction surgery for all of the swelling to completely go away.
